Giving
Churches rely on the generosity of their congregations and their communities to support their mission and ministry. Many people give regularly to their church by standing order or direct debit but others give in cash when the offering is taken in a church service or when visiting the church.
I would like to make a Bank Transfer
If you wish to make a one-off donation, or set up a standing order for regular donations, then please instruct your bank to make payment to the church’s bank account. You can do this using your own online banking service. Details of the church bank account are below:
Account name: The PCC of St Mary Cholsey
Bank: Lloyds Bank Plc
Account Number: 11384060
Sort code: 30-54-66
I would like to give regularly
The best, most effective way of giving is to contact your bank and set up a monthly Standing Order through online banking or by contacting your bank. Please also email our treasurer to let us know you are giving regularly.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also give us permission to claim Gift Aid on your donation by making a Gift Aid Declaration. This is really valuable to us as it increases the amount we receive by 25% without costing you anything. You can give us permission to claim Gift Aid on your donation. If you would like to do this then please contact our treasurer and complete a Gift Aid declaration.
I would like to give in person
On Sunday mornings you can give in person using our offering box (for cheques and cash). Alternatively you can make a donation in the church office, when it is open, via our contactless sumup machine (to give by credit or debit card, as well as by Apple Pay or Google Pay on your smart device).
